3D Printing has now entered the home building market using concrete to lower costs and speed up construction.
Icon claims they were built the first permitted 3D printed home in America using robotics, software and an advanced cement-based mixture to produce homes of this nature.
The good news is that this speeds the time of completion and lowers home building costs. And this is good for the homeless and those without adequate, affordable. housing. The not-so-good news may be that this could displace or eliminate thousands of good construction jobs.
